How We Work
Three modes of working together, depending on what you need.
Embedded
For teams that need a design brain in the room for a quarter, usually around a launch, rebrand, product overhaul, or fundraise. I show up to your standups, build the brand system from the ground up, and make sure it lands everywhere it needs to: product surfaces, landing pages, decks, social. Best for early-stage teams building fast and starting to notice the brand can't keep up.
Project based
For specific brand work with clear edges: full brand systems from scratch, rebrands and visual refreshes, landing pages, pitch decks that don't put investors to sleep, product-facing brand work (in-app visuals, onboarding, marketing surfaces). Defined timeline, defined deliverables.
One-off
For the smaller stuff: brand audits, visual explorations, design system reviews, or the occasional "please make this look right before tomorrow's pitch".
Who I'm usually a fit for
Technical teams in web3, dev tools, or open source who know they need design to keep up with what they're shipping. Most of my clients are founders, product leads, or marketing leads at engineering-heavy teams that don't yet have a designer (or have one who's drowning).
Who I'm not a fit for
Pure aesthetic work without strategic context. Logos in a vacuum. "Make this pretty" without "make this make sense". I design things, but always with the team and the user in mind, not just the visual outcome.
How it starts
- 1. 30-min intro call. You tell me what you're building and where the friction is. I tell you if I'm the right fit.
- 2. Proposal within 2 days. Scope, timeline, price.
- 3. Kick off. Usually within 1 week of the proposal.
On pricing
Project-dependent. Tell me what you have and what you need; I'll tell you honestly if it's feasible. I'd rather refer you to someone else than take a project that won't work for either of us.
