How We Work
Three modes of working together, depending on what you need.
Embedded
For teams that need a design brain in the room for a quarter (usually around a launch, rebrand, product overhaul, or fundraise). I design the product surfaces, build the brand system, and help your team get sharper at how their work shows up in the world. Best for early-stage teams without a design hire yet.
Project-based
For specific scopes with clear edges: product redesigns and new features, brand systems, landing pages, pitch decks that don't put investors to sleep, design system audits, mobile versions. Defined timeline, defined deliverables.
One-off
For the smaller stuff: design audits, brand explorations, half-day workshops with your team, or the occasional "please make this look good before tomorrow's pitch".
Who I'm usually a fit for
Technical teams in web3, dev tools, or open source who know they need design to keep up with what they're shipping. Most of my clients are founders, product leads, or marketing leads at engineering-heavy teams that don't yet have a designer (or have one who's drowning).
Who I'm not a fit for
Pure aesthetic work without strategic context. Logos in a vacuum. "Make this pretty" without "make this make sense". I design things, but always with the team and the user in mind, not just the visual outcome.
How it starts
- 1. 30-min intro call. You tell me what you're building and where the friction is. I tell you if I'm the right fit.
- 2. Proposal within 2 days. Scope, timeline, price.
- 3. Kick off. Usually within 1 week of the proposal.
On pricing
Project-dependent. Tell me what you have and what you need; I'll tell you honestly if it's feasible. I'd rather refer you to someone else than take a project that won't work for either of us.
